North Lights

Today I am excit­ed to launch North Lights, a new online jour­nal about North(ern) Korea … its past, present, and future.

North Lights will pub­lish excit­ing new work and share links to the best glob­al schol­ar­ship and writ­ing about North Korea. We will also pub­lish essays and cre­ative work by North Kore­an exiles in trans­la­tion, as well as writ­ing from the DPRK. Whilst most posts will be free to read, paid sub­scrip­tions and dona­tions will allow North Lights to fund work by new voic­es from the North Kore­an diaspora.
